The Senior Regional Tournament this season will be hosted by North over the weekend of 15-16 March 2025 - venue details still to come.
We are running full trials in January and a proposed training day for selected players in March, before the Senior Regional Tournament. We understand that there may be a number of reasons why players might not be able to make it to our trials so we will consider 'paper applications'. However, we stress that we strongly encourage anyone who would like to be considered to come. We have kept the trials commitment as short (and cheap) as we possibly can. All players who want to be considered MUST pay the trials fee, whether they are able to attend in person or not.
If you have any questions regarding the Senior Regional programme, you can reach us on sr.southwestlacrosseuk@gmail.com.
Key dates:
Sunday, 19 January - Senior Regional trials: 09.30 - 13.00 - Oxford Academy, Sandy Lane West, Littlemore, Oxford OX4 6JZ
Sunday, 2 March - training for selected players tbc
15 - 16 March - National Senior Regional tournament (North)
Senior Regional Tournament 2024
Although we were beset with numerous difficulties, we were delighted to send Senior A and B teams to the annual Senior Regional tournament, this year hosted by the South East. Huge congratulations to all those who played - and massive thanks to Charlotte Williams (Wales, SW Senior Regional A, Downe House and general Good Egg) for all her hard work pulling the teams together. We mustn't forget the coaches (Qasim and Heidi) and umpires from the SW who travelled up to help officiate the matches! And the teams were:
As: Harriet Brooks, Holly Bureau, Anna Featherstone, Isla Finlay, Emma Hawkins, Katie Lehovsky, Georgina Lewis, Lauren Lewis, Kitty Marvin, Molly Marvin, Maeve McKenny, Isabelle Michelson, Mia Manson, Phoebe Smith, Laura Warren, Eliza Watson and Charlotte Williams.
Bs: Amy Adams, Erlina Ainsworth, Rebecca Anderson, Amy Bolton, Sian Evans-Evans, Natalie Hazzard, Alice Houlden, Chelsea Nasmyth-Miller, Alice-May Partridge, Vainavi Patel, Ziski Putz, Charlotte Ryan, Rosie Shepherd, Emily Watkins and Jenny Wood.
