2019/20 Season

The South West Women's Committee are delighted to be able to introduce our new development league. This league is aimed at development/ beginner teams who are looking for more playing opportunities for their less experienced players.

There will be two round-robin development tournaments, held at Westonbirt School on Sunday 27th October and Sunday 8th March. All teams entered into the development league are also invited to attend the indoor tournament held at Cheltenham Ladies College on Sunday 19th January.  

 

University of Bath take first place 

Congratulations to the University of Bath's development team, who took first place, winning all three of their matches at the development tournament on the 8th March. Congratulations also to Plymouth University, the University of Southampton and Bournemouth Lacrosse Club for competing in the tournament and contributing to a great day of lacrosse. We look forward to continuing to support the development of lacrosse in your clubs and welcome you back next season.

South West Development League

Both development tournaments will be held alongside the Women's League at Westonbirt school, Tetbury. The indoor tournament is open to any team competing in the above competitions and will be held at Cheltenham Ladies College.
